What's happening at Calvary?
Due to the Coronavirus most of our activities have been canceled. What is coming up will be posted below. If you find you need more information about any of them, feel free to use the button below and ask away.
Good Friday Servcie
We will be streaming our Good Friday Service on Facebook and YouTube at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10.
We will be celebrating the greatest day in all of history! This is the day that we remember Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Easter morning (April 12th) we will be live streaming our service on Facebook and YouTube at 10:45. Despite being apart from each other, we are inviting anyone who wants to join in to raise the roof in praise of our Savior! There will be energetic music, and Pastor Joel has been preparing a special message for any who are feeling stressed, weighed down, or hopeless. He will talk about how knowing Jesus can make us "Unburdened."
Calvary's community Care Food Distribution
Any are welcome to come and get fresh food! Once a month, on the third Thursday, we partner with the Food Bank of Central New York to distribute fresh food goods to any who need a helping hand. There is no approval process; food is available to all who show up. The distribution starts at 5 p.m. in our gym.
Next Distribution: April 16th
Special Business Meeting
We are calling a special business meeting on Sunday, April 19th, at 2:00 p.m. This will be to discuss an option that will help us to finacially navigate the economic storm that COVID-19 has caused. We are hoping that most will be able to join us through the online video conferencing platform called "Zoom." If that is not an option for you, please drive into the parking lot at that time and stay in your car, and we will have a PA system set up to facilitate the meeting between those attending through Zoom and those in person, in their cars. More information on how to join that meeting will be made available as we have it; also, feel free to use the "Contact Us" button at the top of this page to request more information. Please make this a priority as we need a minimum of 75 active members present to officially call this meeting.
