What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible Word and the final authority for faith and life.

We believe there is one true God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins,

rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is the only mediator between God and mankind.

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, brings new life, indwells believers, and empowers them to live for Christ.

We believe God created the universe and everything in it by His direct act of creation.

We believe all people are sinners by nature and choice and are unable to save themselves apart from God’s grace.

We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven,

made new, and eternally secure in Him.

We believe all believers are part of the universal church, expressed through local churches committed to worship,

discipleship, fellowship, service, evangelism, baptism by immersion, and communion.

We believe Christ is the head of the church and that pastors and deacons are given to serve and lead the church biblically.

We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, eternal life for believers,

and eternal judgment for unbelievers.
